Design of an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) to support two real-life use cases: docking to electric charger and parking. The first task is accomplished with CNN-based vision system joined with sophisticated control algorithms that make it possible to create steering suggestions even for articulated buses. The second task is accomplished with a LiDAR-based system to localize and create a map of the environment that is processed by control algorithms to similarly provide steering cues.
